1. Cheech and Chong, Up in Smoke

This movie is the No.1 Stoner Movie of all time. Quotes like, “You get a goddamn job before sundown, or we’re shipping you off to military school with that goddamn Finkelstein shit kid!” Make you laugh so hard you’ll sh*t yourself.

2. Super Troopers

This is one of the all time great stoner movies. It has a great pace to it, requires little attention and is as funny as you like. “Littering and? littering and? littering and?… Smokin’ the Reefer!”

3. The Man Who Knew Too Little

Bill Murray’s second best movie? Maybe! Not necessarily a stoner movie, this can be watched regardless of one’s state of mind. If you haven’t seen it, stop reading now and go download, beg, borrow or steal a copy! Not just one of the best stoner movies but perhaps one of the best comedies of all time.

4. Dazed and Confused

“That’s what I love about these highschool girls, I get older and they stay the same age.” Creepy but very funny. Plus Matthew McConaughey doesn’t take his top off throughout the whole movie… I think anyway. Can’t fully remember, as I was pretty st&ned last time I saw it.

5. The Big Lebowski

Why isn’t it higher on our list? There is a reason: Yes it’s the best movie on our list, and yes it’s amazingly stoner related. However, it’s not the No.1 best movie to watch whilst stoned… so I’ve been told… by people who do drugs.

6. Grandma’s Boy

Terrible, terrible movie! But it’s a great to watch if you are really, really, really, really stoned. If you don’t enjoy it in that state, then you’re not stoned enough.

7. Fast Times at Ridgemont High

I wish I could place this movie higher up the list. I’ll make a deal with you, for each time someone writes a comment saying something like “push Fast Times up the list” I will bump it up a place. How does that sound? This is the best movie on our list to watch with a large group. Great soundtrack, easy to watch (so you can chat during it), and it’s as awkward and funny a highschool movie as you’ll ever find!

8. Outside Providance

Drugs Delaney is such a great character. Despite it’s lowly ranking of eighth, this movie is by absolute far, the best stoner movie on our list. No one I’ve ever met has watched this movie, without me having made them.

9. Clerks

Great movie but the acting makes me cringe a bit now. I haven’t seen it in a while but one of my all time favourite dialogues is when they chat about the fate of the staff on the death star. Kevin Smith creates such great dialogue but he’s a bad director… sorry Kevin, it’s true. On the plus side, you make pretty good stoner movies.

10. Repo Man

Never appreciated for being one of the greatest stoner movies of all time, which it is. You feel great after watching this, because you feel like you’ve watched one of those rare stoner movies that is a little taxing but therefore so rewarding.
